Job Role: Web Designer / Front-end Developer

I was the sole designer within the marketing team and worked on both online and offline projects such as PPC, social ads, website landing pages, print, infographics and branding. I took ownership from concept through to final design. I worked with social media as this was regarded as the best way to engage the target audience.

The role taught me about design within marketing. I learnt about the use of design for sales purposes and about customer buying habits, which made my designs stronger resulting in increased conversion rates.

I gained experience of WordPress. I was able to work alongside the development team and enhance my skills by combining design and code.

I redesigned the landing page focusing on the most popular products according to data and research; designed product pages for new products and marketing documents for customers to download or to be emailed to those who had purchased Insurance.
