Formula 1^®

Softpauer is a digital design software house. There largest and most prestigious clients are Formula 1® and Paddock Club™.

Job Role: Junior / Mid-Weight Digital Designer

This was an exciting role working on the Formula 1® app. We designed, adapted and hosted a comprehensive mobile application between 2013-2017.

We created live track data so that the user could follow the race on their mobile phones in real time.

My role was to assist the Head Designer in creating design work from brief to completion. More specifically these designs consisted of media pages, timing screens, iconography, menus and creating web assets. I was also responsible for creating guides and documentation for developers.

This was a great opportunity to work with apps and create user-friendly digital design. It gave me experience in designing content for audio and video and using data on IOS and Android platforms for both mobiles and tablet. I worked on designing the app for Window 7, 8 and BB OS.

I was able to work with the external agency AKQA on the Formula 1® website.
